Brahmatheertham is a novel project that is built and maintained as a social initiative benefiting the community. To make the operation simpler and efficient, booking of the Brahmatheertham infrastructure is done by two different ways.
1) Online booking by Kartha
2) Booking done at Brahmatheertham office
However, its much appreciated if the Kartha could directly book the facility online.
A simple sequence of activities is explained in the diagram below:
STEP 1:
Click the link "Book Online" in the top right side of the website.
Also, you can view the booking form by typing the URL: http://brahmatheertham.mahasanthi.com/personal_info.php in your browser
STEP 2:
Furnish the details provided in the booking form carefully
The various data collected in the form are explained below:
a) Kartha: Kartha is the person who is the rightful survivor of the deceased, who shall perform the Antim / Apara kriya for the deceased.
b) Name of the deceased: Name of the dead, for whom the ritual is to be performed.
c) Date of Demise: The English calendar date at which the death has occurred; this date is referred only for official purposes and it need not be used for any calculation of the rituals.
d) First Day: **IMPORTANT TO NOTE**
The first day of death is calculated based on Ancient Indian methodologies or as prescribed by the Vedic scriptures and practices around them.
The English Calendar Date of death need not be the 'First Day' of death.
The First Day of death is calculated for performing rituals for all other days, based on the time of death, the Yamam / Jamam and other related informations.
It is advised to consult with your Vadhyar on 'First Day' before proving the same in the booking form.
Please note that the individual days of rituals to perform Nithya Vidhi, Dasaaham, Ekothishtam, Sapindeekaranam and Subham are all calculated based on the 'First Day' calculation.
e) Subsect:
The Brahmin community especially the South Indian Brahmin community is broadly classified into
Smartha (Iyer), Sri Vaishnava ( Iyengar), Madhwa and Telunga based on the philosophical school of thought and by ancestral Acharya followings.
However, there are other classification which are sparsely followed which are otherwise classified under any one of the above mentioned list.
f) Vadhyar Id:
Before booking Kartha should check with their Vadhyar his registration number . It is mandatory to furnish your Vadhyar's Id for booking. ( Registered Vadhyars are the approving authority to allow karthas use the Brahmatheertham ). In case kartha wants to perform rituals with Outstation/ Unregistered Vadhyars, the booking should be with reference to any registered Vadhyar and on their responsibility and approval other Vadhyars can perform using the passes given to the Kartha.
Click Here to know more about registered vadhyars of Brahmatheertham.
Note: It is the responsibility of the Vadhyar who is been referenced during the booking ensuring proper conduct of Karthas.

h) Shuba Mandapam

j) Pratyaksha Gho Dhanam ( Gho Dhanam)
